AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT OF A BIKE ROUTE ON ROUTES 68 AND 70 IN
CHESHIRE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
____ dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of 4
Transportation for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the town 5
of Cheshire to develop a bike route on Routes 68 and 70 pursuant to the 6
active transportation plan issued by the Department of Transportation 7
in 2019. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To provide a grant-in-aid to the town of Cheshire to develop a bike route
on Routes 68 and 70.
