AN ACT CONCERNING WORKERS' COMPENSATION COVERAGE
FOR MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL INJURIES THAT DO NOT ARISE OUT
OF PHYSICAL INJURIES OR OCCUPATIONAL DISEASES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide compensation for 1
mental and emotional injuries that do not arise out of physical injuries 2
or occupational diseases, thereby reversing portions of public act 93-228. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To allow all workers coverage for post traumatic stress and other mental
or emotional injuries.
