AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF FUNDS GENERATED FROM THE
GREENHOUSE GAS REDUCTION FEE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that funds generated 1
from the greenhouse gas reduction fee on motor vehicle registrations be 2
made available to towns for the purpose of brownfield remediation 3
programs. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To use certain fees for the purpose of brownfield remediation.
