AN ACT CONCERNING THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STATE
PROPERTIES REVIEW BOARD CONCERNING THE PURCHASE OF
AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT RIGHTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the State Properties 1
Review Board to work cooperatively with the Commissioner of 2
Agriculture on matters involving the preservation of agricultural lands 3
when state or federal funds are involved. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To support the preservation of prime farmland.
