AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF HOUSING OPTIONS FOR
EMPLOYEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the Department of Housing be required to (1) conduct a study 1
of methods to increase housing options for apprentices and other newly 2
hired employees to reside in the municipalities where they work, and 3
(2) not later than January 1, 2022, submit a report of findings and 4
recommendations concerning such study, in accordance with the 5
provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, to the joint standing 6
committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters 7
relating to housing. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To study methods to increase housing options for employees to reside
in the municipalities in which they work.
