AN ACT PROHIBITING THE STATE SUBSIDIZATION OF THE
HARTFORD-NEW BRITAIN BUSWAY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 242 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the 1
subsidization of the Hartford-New Britain busway. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the subsidization of the Hartford-New Britain busway and
ensure that the passenger rates for ridership pay the cost of operation.
