AN ACT CONCERNING THE NONEMERGENCY TRANSPORTATION
OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES CONFINED TO A STRETCHER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 13b-105 and 14-100a of the general statutes be amended 1
to allow a livery permit holder to use a stretcher van to transport a 2
person with disabilities and who requires nonemergency transportation 3
on a stretcher. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide persons with disabilities an opportunity to travel in a
stretcher van instead of an ambulance.
