AN ACT CREDITING MILITARY EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING IN WATER OR WASTEWATER OPERATIONS TOWARD REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSURE IN CERTAIN OCCUPATIONS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 20-341e of the general statutes be amended to require the 1 Department of Public Health to issue a recommendation for review that 2 is related to the competency and skills required under said section as 3 sufficient evidence of an applicant's competency, the requisite skill to 4 perform the work of a subsurface sewage disposal system installer or 5 cleaner and to comply with all other requirements of this chapter to not 6 charge a fee for anyone presenting a recommendation for review. 7 Statement of Purpose: To credit military experience and training in water or wastewater operations toward the requirements for licensure in certain occupations.
