AN ACT CONCERNING THE DATE OF THE ANNUAL SALES TAX
FREE WEEK.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 12-407e of the general statutes be amended to move Sales 1
Tax Free Week for clothing and footwear to the week commencing on 2
the second Sunday in August. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To move Sales Tax Free Week to the week commencing on the second
Sunday in August.
