AN ACT CONCERNING STORAGE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY OF
EVICTED TENANTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 47a-42 and 47a-42a of the general statutes be amended 1
to eliminate the requirement that municipalities or landlords store 2
abandoned personal property of evicted tenants. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate the requirement that municipalities or landlords store the
personal property of evicted tenants.
