AN ACT RESTRICTING EARLY RELEASE FOR PERSONS
CONVICTED OF CRIMES INVOLVING SEXUAL ASSAULT OR
FIREARMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 18-98e of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the 1
award of earned risk reduction credits to any inmate convicted of a 2
crime involving sexual assault or a firearm. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To protect the citizens of Connecticut from early release of convicted
felons.
