AN ACT CONCERNING SINGLE PARTY CONSENT TO THE
RECORDING OF A CONVERSATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to align state law with federal 1
law by amending section 52-570d of the general statutes to require that 2
only a single party consent to the recording of a conversation prior to 3
the recording of such conversation consistent with federal law. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide for single party consent to the recording of a conversation.
