Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the sale of 1 Confederate merchandise at town fairs, county fairs, local festivals or 2 similar mass gatherings held in the state. 3 Statement of Purpose: To prohibit the sale of Confederate merchandise at fairs and festivals.
