AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL ZONING AND PUBLIC TRANSIT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 8 of the general statutes be amended to require that a 1
municipality's zoning regulations permit a greater density of housing 2
within one-half mile of a public transit station than is otherwise 3
permitted by such municipality. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require that a municipality's zoning regulations permit a greater
density of housing within one-half mile of a public transit station than
is otherwise permitted by such municipality.
