Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to establish a program to 1 provide financial assistance, including, but not limited to, grants and 2 low-interest loans, to municipalities in which residential well water 3 contains high levels of uranium and owners of such residential wells. 4 Statement of Purpose: To establish a program to provide financial assistance, including, but not limited to, grants and low-interest loans, to municipalities in which residential well water contains high levels of uranium and owners of such residential wells.
