AN ACT PROHIBITING DISCRIMINATION IN THE RATIONING OF HEALTH CARE IN A PUBLIC HEALTH CARE EMERGENCY ON THE BASIS OF A PERSON'S DISABILITY STATUS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to prohibit a health care 1 provider from discriminating against any person in a public health 2 emergency on the basis of such person's disability status by rationing 3 health care to persons without disabilities. 4 Statement of Purpose: To prohibit discrimination in the rationing of health care by a health care provider in a public health emergency.
