AN ACT CONCERNING RESTRICTIONS ON THE TRANSPORT OF
MOBILE AND MODULAR HOMES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 248 of the general statutes be amended to standardize 1
the size, weight, length, hours of operation and escort requirements so 2
that a motor vehicle that transports mobile homes, modular homes, 3
house trailers or sectional houses is subject to the same restrictions and 4
permits as a motor vehicle with an oversized or overweight load. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To subject vehicles that transport mobile or modular homes to the same
restrictions as other vehicles that are oversized or overweight.
