AN ACT CONCERNING PAYMENTS IN LIEU OF TAXES TO THE CITY
OF NEW LONDON FOR THE CONNECTICUT PORT AUTHORITY
PROPERTY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 201 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
state to annually provide a payment in lieu of taxes in the amount of 2
four hundred thousand dollars to the city of New London for the 3
Connecticut Port Authority property. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To reimburse the city of New London for losses on nontaxable property.
