AN ACT TEMPORARILY SUSPENDING THE SALES AND USE TAXES
ON PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR BUSINESSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 219 of the general statutes be amended to suspend, for 1
businesses through the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, the imposition 2
of the sales and use taxes on the sale of and the storage, use or other 3
consumption in this state of personal protective equipment. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To suspend, for businesses through the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023,
the imposition of the sales and use taxes on the sale of and the storage,
use or other consumption in this state of personal protective equipment.
