1818 AN ACT CONCERNING MEDICAL MARIJUANA REGISTRATION TIME

2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the general statutes be amended to correct the registration 1
2424 period of medical marijuana registrations so that they are valid for one 2
2525 year, by amending section 21a-408d of the general statutes so that a 3
2626 qualifying medical marijuana patient's registration card is effective for 4
2727 one year from the date the Department of Consumer Protection issues a 5
2828 certificate of registration, rather than the date of the written certification 6
2929 issued by the physician or advanced practice registered nurse. 7
3030 Statement of Purpose:
3131 To correct the registration period of medical marijuana registrations so
3232 that they are valid for one year.
