AN ACT CONCERNING LATE PAYMENT OF TAXES ON
COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow a municipality to 1
waive for any business operating in such municipality any penalties, 2
fees or interest for any late payment of property taxes for the 2020 fiscal 3
year. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To allow municipalities to waive penalties, fees or interest accrued on
commercial properties for the 2020 fiscal year.
