AN ACT CONCERNING THE COMPLETION OF AN ANTI -RACISM
COURSE FOR PURPOSES OF EDUCATOR CERTIFICATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 166 of the general statutes be amended to require each 1
candidate for educator certification to complete an anti-racism course 2
prior to being issued an initial educator certificate. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To require the inclusion of an anti-racism course component as part of
the Connecticut educator certification requirements.
