AN ACT REQUIRING A STUDY OF THE ACCESSIBILITY OF THE
LEGISLATIVE OFFICE BUILDING AND STATE CAPITOL BUILDING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the Joint Committee on Legislative Management be required to 1
contract with a third-party entity to (1) study the Legislative Office 2
Building and State Capitol building to assess their current accessibility 3
for persons with disabilities, and (2) make recommendations on 4
improving accessibility and bringing such buildings in compliance with 5
the most recent Americans with Disability Act standards. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To study the accessibility of the Legislative Office Building and State
Capitol building.
