2121 AN ACT CONCERNING A TEMPORARY PERSONAL INCOME TAX
2222 CREDIT FOR EXPENSES RELATED TO THE COVID -19 PANDEMIC.
2323 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2424 Assembly convened:

2626 That, for the taxable years commencing January 1, 2020, and January 1
2727 1, 2021, taxpayers shall be allowed to claim a credit against the personal 2
2828 income tax, not to exceed five hundred dollars for married individuals 3
2929 filing jointly and two hundred fifty dollars for all other filers, for 4
3030 expenses related to the COVID-19 pandemic. 5
3131 Statement of Purpose:
3232 To allow taxpayers a personal income tax credit for the taxable years
3333 commencing January 1, 2020, and January 1, 2021, for expenses related
3434 to the COVID-19 pandemic.
