AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEDUCTION AND WITHHOLDING OF
PERSONAL INCOME TAX FROM PENSION AND ANNUITY
DISTRIBUTIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the 1
requirement that payers of pension and annuity distributions deduct 2
and withhold personal income tax from such distributions. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate the requirement that payers of pension and annuity
distributions deduct and withhold personal income tax from such
distributions.
