AN ACT CONCERNING ABSENTEE BALLOT APPLICATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 145 of the general statutes be amended to require, with 1
any absentee ballot application, an accompanying statement of the 2
penalties for any violation of election laws, including, but not limited to, 3
a statement that only the intended recipient of such application may 4
complete and return such application. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To advise absentee ballot applicants of the penalties for violation of
election laws, including those concerning possession and completion of
absentee ballots.
