AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND
RESPONSES TO UNEMPLOYMENT ISSUES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of 1
Labor to track the amount of phone calls to residents who have 2
contacted the department regarding issues with unemployment and 3
justify responses that take forty-eight hours or longer in a report given 4
to the Labor and Public Employee's committee. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To give transparency to Connecticut's residents regarding responses by
the Department of Labor regarding unemployment issues.
