OFA Fiscal Note
Minimal Cost
The amendment states that Legislative Management shall not operate
the personal screening system and shall remove said system in the
Legislative Office Building and at the State Capitol.
It is estimated to cost $75,000 to remove and store the turnstiles and
package scanners and to disable the security card access entrances for
legislators and employees. This amount only reflects removing the
software and hardware in the legislator/employee entrances with
keeping the current door configuration in tack.
