25 | 25 | | Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Social Services, 1 |

26 | 26 | | in collaboration with the Commissioners of Mental Health and 2 |
---|
27 | 27 | | Addiction Services and Housing, shall study whether state-contracted 3 |
---|
28 | 28 | | providers of human services receive disparate payment rates under 4 |
---|
29 | 29 | | programs the commissioners administer in different regions of the state. 5 |
---|
30 | 30 | | The commissioners shall report, in accordance with the provisions of 6 |
---|
31 | 31 | | section 11-4a of the general statutes, on their rate study and any 7 |
---|
32 | 32 | | resulting recommendations for rate adjustments not later than 8 |
---|
33 | 33 | | November 1, 2021, to the joint standing committees of the General 9 |
---|
34 | 34 | | Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to appropriations and 10 |
---|
35 | 35 | | the budgets of state agencies, housing, human services and public 11 |
---|
36 | 36 | | health. For purposes of this section, "human services" includes, but is 12 |
---|
37 | 37 | | not limited to: (1) Physical and behavioral health services, and (2) 13 |
---|
