2020 AN ACT ARTICULATING FEES ON AN ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION

2222 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2525 Section 1. (NEW) (Effective July 1, 2021) (a) For purposes of this 1

2727 (1) "Combined public benefits charge" means the systems benefit 3
2828 charge pursuant to section 16-245l of the general statutes, the assessment 4
2929 for the Energy Conservation and Load Management Fund pursuant to 5
3030 section 16-245m of the general statutes and the assessment for the Clean 6
3131 Energy Fund pursuant to section 16-245n of the general statutes; and 7
3232 (2) "Electric distribution company" has the same meaning as 8
3333 provided in section 16-1 of the general statutes. 9
3434 (b) On and after October 1, 2021, each electric distribution company 10
3535 shall include an explanation for each charge appearing on a customer's 11
3636 bill. Such explanation shall include an itemization for each charge, 12
3737 including an itemization for the associated charges for each component 13
