21	21		AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF CERTAIN HOU SING IN THE
22	22		TOWN OF SOUTH WINDSO R.
23	23		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
24	24		Assembly convened:

26	26		Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) The Commissioner of 1
27	27		Developmental Services shall conduct a study concerning the 2
28	28		establishment of housing units in the town of South Windsor for clients 3
29	29		of the Manchester chapter of the Arc of Connecticut. Such study shall 4
30	30		include, but not be limited to, an examination of (1) the number of such 5
31	31		clients for whom housing may be required, and (2) the ability for such 6
32	32		chapter to effectively provide services to such clients. 7
33	33		(b) Not later than January 1, 2022, the commissioner shall submit to 8
34	34		the joint standing committees of the General Assembly having 9
35	35		cognizance of matters relating to public health and planning and 10
36	36		development, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the 11
37	37		general statutes, (1) a report on the findings of such study, and (2) 12
38	38		recommendations for legislation to address any potential concerns 13
