14	21		AN ACT CONCERNING TH E CONVEYANCE OF A PA RCEL OF STATE
15	22		LAND IN THE TOWN OF ROCKY HILL.
16	23		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
17	24		Assembly convened:

19	26		Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) Notwithstanding any provision 1
20	27		of the general statutes, the Commissioner of Transportation shall convey 2
21	28		to the town of Rocky Hill a parcel of land located in the town of Rocky 3
22	29		Hill, at a cost equal to the administrative costs of making such 4
23		-	conveyance. Said parcel of land is identified as a portion of the parcel of 5
24		-	land located at 1090 Maple Street and is further identified as Lot 526 on 6
25		-	town of Rocky Hill Assessor's Map 08. The precise size and area of said 7
26		-	parcel to be conveyed shall be determined by said commissioner. The 8
27		-	conveyance shall be subject to the approval of the State Properties 9
28		-	Review Board. 10
29		-	(b) The town of Rocky Hill shall use said parcel of land for municipal 11
30		-	purposes. If the town of Rocky Hill: 12
31		-	(1) Does not use said parcel for said purposes; 13
32		-	(2) Does not retain ownership of all of said parcel; or 14
33		-	(3) Leases all or any portion of said parcel, 15
34		-	the parcel shall revert to the state of Connecticut. 16 Substitute Bill No. 1116

42		-	conveyance of said parcel of land not later than thirty days after it 18
43		-	receives a proposed agreement from the Department of Transportation. 19
44		-	The land shall remain under the care and control of said department 20
45		-	until a conveyance is made in accordance with the provisions of this 21
46		-	section. The State Treasurer shall execute and deliver any deed or 22
47		-	instrument necessary for a conveyance under this section, which deed 23
48		-	or instrument shall include provisions to carry out the purposes of 24
49		-	subsection (b) of this section. The Commissioner of Transportation shall 25
50		-	have the sole responsibility for all other incidents of such conveyance. 26
