2022 AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF THE NEEDS OF SENIOR

2224 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2325 Assembly convened:

2527 Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) The executive director of the 1
2628 Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity and Opportunity, in 2
2729 consultation with the Commissioner of Aging and Disability Services, 3
2830 shall study the needs of senior citizens in the state in order to ensure the 4
2931 adequate allocation of resources. 5
3032 (b) The study shall include, but not be limited to, the needs of senior 6
3133 citizens for (1) long-term care, (2) transportation, (3) housing assistance, 7
3234 (4) nutritional assistance, and (5) opportunities for socialization. 8
3335 (c) The executive director shall report the results of the study, in 9
3436 accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, 10
3537 to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having 11
