The amendment makes various changes in laws on adult sexual misconduct against students, and reduces the fiscal impact in the underlying bill: The amendment requires the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to include bystander training in the state-wide sexual abuse and assault awareness and prevention program. It is anticipated that DCF may need additional, minimal, funding to complete this requirement.
