AN ACT CONCERNING THE REGULATION OF INSURANCE IN THE
STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) Not later than January 1, 2023, the 1
Insurance Department shall submit recommendations, in accordance 2
with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, for various 3
revisions to the insurance statutes to the joint standing committee of the 4
General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to insurance. 5
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To require the Insurance Department to submit recommendations for
various revisions to the insurance statutes to the joint standing
committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters
