2020 AN ACT CONCERNING A SURVEY OF SERVICE MEMBERS' WELL -

2222 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2323 Assembly convened:

2525 Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) The Adjutant General shall, 1
2626 through the Military Department's family program, conduct a survey of 2
2727 members of the Connecticut National Guard to identify (1) support 3
2828 services most used by such members, (2) support services deemed by 4
2929 such members as most beneficial to such members, including, but not 5
3030 limited to, mental health, behavioral health and wellness programs, 6
3131 employment assistance, financial and retirement counseling and 7
3232 community involvement opportunities, and (3) areas for improvement 8
3333 in coordinating such members' access to such support services. 9
3434 (b) Not later than January 1, 2023, the Adjutant General shall submit 10
3535 to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having 11
3636 cognizance of matters relating to military affairs, in accordance with the 12
3737 provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, (1) a report on the 13
3838 findings of such survey, and (2) recommendations for legislation to 14
3939 address areas for improvement in coordinating Connecticut National 15

4343 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
