AN ACT PROHIBITING STATE CLAWBACK OF SAVINGS RETAINED
BY NONPROFIT PROVIDERS OF HUMAN SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 4 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the state 1
from recovering savings retained by nonprofit, private providers of 2
human services who otherwise meet state contractual requirements. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent state agencies from recouping funds retained by nonprofit,
private providers of human services who otherwise meet state
contractual requirements.
