21 | 21 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |

24 | 24 | That the general statutes be amended to provide that (1) the State 1 | |
25 | 25 | Elections Enforcement Commission shall submit any nomination for 2 | |
26 | 26 | executive director to either house of the General Assembly for referral 3 | |
27 | 27 | to such house's committee on executive nominations, (2) such 4 | |
28 | 28 | committee shall report by resolution on such nomination, and (3) such 5 | |
29 | 29 | house, by resolution, shall confirm or reject such nomination. 6 | |

31 | 31 | To provide that the State Elections Enforcement Commission shall | |
32 | 32 | appoint its executive director with the advice and consent of either | |
