AN ACT CONCERNING STATE ELECTIONS ENFORCEMENT
COMMISSION AUDITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 9-7b of the general statutes be amended to provide that, 1
whenever the State Elections Enforcement Commission initiates an 2
audit involving a committee of a candidate, said commission shall 3
complete such audit not later than two months preceding the day of an 4
election at which such candidate is seeking election or not later than two 5
years after such initiation, whichever is earlier. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To require the timely completion of State Elections Enforcement
Commission audits.
