Explanation
The bill requires the State Board of Education (SBE) to develop a
model teacher evaluation and support program and allows local and
regional school districts to adopt the model. This has no fiscal impact as
it is anticipated that SBE has the resources to develop the model, and the
model is not anticipated to increase the cost to local and regional school
districts of conducting teacher evaluations.
