1919 AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF POLITICAL ACTIVITY BY
2020 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT RECEIVE STATE FUNDING OR
2121 PASS-THROUGH GRANTS.
2222 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2323 Assembly convened:

2525 That (1) a study be conducted of ways to prohibit nonprofit 1
2626 organizations that receive state funding or pass-through grants from 2
2727 engaging in political activity, and (2) such study (A) include penalties 3
2828 for violations, such as reduction or elimination of such funding or grants 4
2929 and criminal liability, and (B) determine a process for reviewing claims 5
3030 of such political activity. 6

3232 To address political activity by nonprofit organizations that receive state
