Explanation
The bill, which prohibits hourly lodging and requires certain
identification for lodging, has no fiscal impact since there is no fine for
any violations tied to these provisions.
Additionally, the bill increases the membership on the Trafficking in
Persons Council’s membership, from 35 to 36, by adding the
Department of Developmental Services (DDS), as of July 1, 2023. There
is no fiscal impact to DDS to participate on the Council.
