1819 AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF THE CIVIL PROCEDURE LAWS
1920 IN THIS STATE.
2021 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2324 Section 1. (Effective from passage) There is established a working group 1
2425 to study the laws of civil procedure in this state. Such study shall 2
2526 include, at a minimum, a review of titles 51 and 52 of the general statutes 3
2627 for the purpose of recommending legislative changes to said titles. The 4
2728 working group shall consist of the following members who have 5
2829 expertise in laws of civil procedure: (1) One appointed by the speaker of 6
2930 the House of Representatives; (2) one appointed by the president pro 7
3031 tempore of the Senate; (3) one appointed by the majority leader of the 8
3132 House of Representatives; (4) one appointed by the majority leader of 9
3233 the Senate; (5) one appointed by the minority leader of the House of 10
3334 Representatives; and (6) one appointed by the minority leader of the 11
3435 Senate. Not later than January 1, 2025, the working group shall submit 12
3536 a report on its findings and recommendations to the joint standing 13
3637 committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters 14
3738 relating to the judiciary, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-15
38-4a of the general statutes. The working group shall terminate on the date 16 Bill No. 429
