AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE DESIGN
AND CONSTRUCTION OF A TRAIN STATION IN THE TOWN OF
NEWINGTON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
____ dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of 4
Transportation for the purpose of designing and constructing a train 5
station in the town of Newington. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for the design and construction of a train station in
the town of Newington.
