AN ACT CONCERNING PRESCRIPTION DRUG COSTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require any pharmacy 1
licensed in this state to (1) apply all available discounts or coupons for 2
any prescription drug, and (2) notify customers, before presenting any 3
prescription drug to such customer, of any available prescription drug 4
discount programs and generic prescription drug alternatives that may 5
lower the price of such prescription drug. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To (1) apply all available discounts or coupons for any prescription
drug, and (2) notify customers, before presenting any prescription drug
to such customer, of any available prescription drug discount programs
and generic prescription drug alternatives that may lower the price of
such prescription drug.
