AN ACT ADOPTING THE UNIFORM REAL PROPERTY TRANSFER ON
DEATH ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow an owner of real 1
property to pass the property simply and directly by operation of law to 2
a beneficiary upon the owner's death without having to utilize the 3
Probate Court system. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To allow an owner of real property to pass the property simply and
directly by operation of law to a beneficiary upon the owner's death.
