AN ACT CONCERNING A PUBLIC EMPLOYEE'S RIGHT TO BE A
MEMBER OF A UNION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapters 68 and 113 of the general statutes be amended to 1
require that state and municipal collective bargaining agreements and 2
related employee notices include a clear and conspicuous statement 3
notifying an employee of such employee's right to not be a member of 4
an employee organization. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To provide clear disclosures on state and municipal collective
bargaining agreements of an employee's right to opt out of membership
in a union.
