AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR THE FARMERS' MARKET
NUTRITION PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to the Department of 1
Agriculture, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2
2026, for the farmers' market nutrition program. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To increase funds for the farmers' market nutrition program to expand
access to fresh, locally grown produce for low-income individuals and
families.
