AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE FULL FUNDING OF THE
SPECIAL EDUCATION EXCESS COST GRANT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of two hundred forty million dollars be appropriated to 1
the Department of Education, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year 2
ending June 30, 2026, for the purpose of fully funding the special 3
education excess cost grant under section 10-76g of the general statutes. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To fully fund the special education excess cost grant.
