AN ACT ESTABLISHING TAX INCENTIVES TO ENCOURAGE SMALL
AND MEDIUM-SIZED BUSINESSES TO HIRE LOCALLY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish tax credits and 1
wage subsidies to incentivize small and medium-sized businesses to 2
participate in training programs and hire a significant portion of their 3
workforce from the local community. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To establish tax credits and wage subsidies to incentivize small and
medium-sized businesses to participate in training programs and hire a
significant portion of their workforce from the local community.
